The ski fields in Queenstown are The Remarkables and Coronet Peak. The Remarkables is located southeast of central Queenstown, high in The Remarkables mountain range, and is about a 45-minute drive from town. Allow a little longer on weekends. Closer to central Queenstown is Coronet Peak, located north of Queenstown, around 16 kilometres from the town centre and about a 20-minute drive. Again, allow extra time for weekend traffic.
