Coronet Peak closing this Sunday, 4 October, marking the end of it’s 2026 ski season
CORONET PEAK IS NOW CLOSED FOR 2026
They’ll be celebrating with one final day of spring laps, music and the traditional Pond Skim. Everyone is encouraged to head up in their best party shirts and make the most of the final day, with tunes on the deck and the Pond Skim ready for anyone keen to give it a go.
It’s a fitting way to finish the season at Coronet Peak after another big winter in Queenstown.
While we see Coronet Peak closing for the year, The Remarkables remains open through to 11 October, while Cardrona continues through to 18 October.
If Coronet Peak is your mountain, Sunday is your last chance for a few final laps – and maybe one last splash.
