Well who would have thought - snow falling in April
The South Island ski fields got a light dusting of snow over the past couple of days, thanks to a small southerly front moving up the country.
But let’s not get the skis out just yet.
It’s not even an early sign – just that little teaser that gets you thinking…
Still, it’s a reminder that winter isn’t far away. The weather is starting to shift, and before long we’ll all be keeping a closer eye on forecasts, road conditions, and those first real opening dates. Weather dependent, of course – this is New Zealand after all.
