The new snow, combined with continued snowmaking, will allow Calypso and Mid Steeps to open in the morning. Off-piste coverage remains thin, but more terrain may open as conditions improve and snowmaking continues.

7 July Update – Fresh snow arrived at The Remarkables in the last storm cycle (25cm), giving the mountain a welcome boost as the school holidays get underway. The mountain is now looking winter white!

The latest storm cycle has brought new snow to several New Zealand ski fields, with more still forecast through the week. For The Remarkables, the new snow will help improve coverage on open trails and support further terrain opening as conditions and the weather allow.
