SnowFarm has announced it will extend its 2026 winter season through to Sunday 27 September, following fresh snowfall and good snow coverage across the Pisa Range.

The cross-country ski area had originally planned to finish its winter operations on Sunday 13 September, with the possibility of extending the season if conditions allowed.

Recent snowfall has now provided the conditions needed to keep the trails open for an additional two weeks.

Or those looking to make the most of the final weeks of the season — the extension provides another opportunity to get out on its extensive network of cross-country skiing trails.

Snow Farm, located in the Pisa Range between Wānaka and Queenstown, offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, a Snow Fun Zone and access to its backcountry huts during the winter season.

As always, operations remain subject to weather, snow coverage and trail conditions.
