Mt Dobson has officially closed for the 2026 winter season
Mt Dobson closed. The South Canterbury ski field has started packing down, with staff beginning to head off on their next adventures after what Mt Dobson described as a windy and tricky season.
Despite the challenging conditions at times, another winter on the mountain is now in the books. Mt Dobson thanks everyone who skied with them during the season and is already looking ahead to winter 2027.
