Methven Chill Fest 2026

Methven Chill Fest returns on Saturday, September 19, bringing snow sports, live music and entertainment into the heart of Methven

Presented by Mt Hutt and Mt Hutt Parks, the event will feature a street-style rail and jump session, with snow brought down from the ski area to create a purpose-built setup in town.

New Zealand band The Black Seeds will headline the live music, with food trucks, a bar and other entertainment also planned throughout the evening.

Gates open from 4pm, with tickets priced at $25 for adults and $10 for children. Proceeds from the event will support a local Methven cause.

Skiers and snowboarders wanting to take part in the rail jam can also register for the event, with a pre-event jam scheduled from 4pm.
