Unfortunately, due to the snow conditions Craigieburn is closed for the 2026 Ski Season, the rain last week damaged the tow lines beyond repair
Along with Mt Cheeseman, Craigieburn is one of the first of the club fields to close due to the weather in 2026. Club fields, who don’t have extensive snowmaking facilities are more exposed to the effects of the warmer temperatures as we move further into spring.
Ironically, more snow has fallen since this announcement – Craigieburn received 5cm snow over the weekend.
Craigieburn would like to thank everyone who supported them throughout the season – it’s important to support club fields, which, in our opinion, symbolise what skiing is really about, fun, camaraderie and the love of snow.
