Cardrona has extended its 2026 ski season, with the mountain now set to remain open until Sunday 18 October
The decision is based on spring-season snow conditions continuing to deliver good conditions well beyond the traditional winter months. Cardrona had previously been scheduled to close earlier in October, but the new date gives skiers and snowboarders additional time to make the most of the spring snow.
Spring skiing can be one of the best times of the season, with longer days, generally milder temperatures and an established snow base from the winter months.
The new closing date for Cardrona is now Sunday 18 October 2026, subject as always to snow and weather conditions.
