The Mt Olympus Freeride Open (MOFO) returns this September, bringing skiers and snowboarders back to Mt Olympus for one of New Zealand’s grassroots freeride events

The competition will run across a three-day weather window from 14-16 September 2026, with riders competing on Mt Olympus’ natural alpine terrain. Categories include ski and snowboard divisions for men and women, along with a Masters category for competitors aged 35 and over.
