Tūroa has opened a new dedicated sledding area for the 2026 ski season
The new zone is located beside the Alpine Meadow beginner area and is designed as a separate space for people to try sledding for the first time.
Suitable for ages two and up, visitors are required to use Tūroa rental sleds within the designated area. Sessions run daily on the hour from 10 am Monday to Friday, and from 9 am on Saturdays and Sundays.
The new zone gives Tūroa another way for families and non-skiers to enjoy the mountain during the winter season.
